Össur CTi Wearing & Maintenance

Wearing Instructions

  1. Unfasten all straps from the outer side of the brace
  2. With the knee bent approximately 90 degrees, place the brace over your knee so your knee cap is centered between the brace hinges
  3. Beginning with the strap just below the knee (upper calf strap), fasten the strap snugly above the calf muscle, this will help prevent the brace from sliding
  4. Next, fasten the bottom strap (lower calf strap)
  5. Continue with the strap just above the knee (lower thigh strap)
  6. Followed by the top strap (upper thigh strap)
  7. All straps can be trimmed or adjusted to length, don’t over tightening the two top straps this can cause the brace to migrate

Maintenance Instructions

  • use a damp cloth to wipe the brace of any dirt and debris
  • brace can be hand washed with water and/or mild soap, do not use washing machine or dryer
